Sonoma County officials prepared to open a local assistance center on Sunday for flood victims.
The recovery process is going to take a lot of people and help.
The center is set up in the old Bank of America on Main Street in Guerneville and will open from noon until 6 p.m. on Sunday to offer assistance for those in need.
A number of state agencies will be at the center, including Division of Motor Vehicles, California Department of Insurance, Employment Development Department, in addition to county representatives.
Animal, health and mental services will also be provided.
Officials say this will really streamline the process for many who have to make repairs.
The center will be open Monday through Saturday 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
