San Bruno PD investigates possible mountain lion sighting near Parkside School

SAN BRUNO (KRON) - Officials are investigating an unconfirmed report of a mountain lion near Parkside School Monday.

"We have not received a call from anyone that has seen the animal," San Bruno police said in a statement.

The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has also been called to investigate.

• Don't leave small children or pets outside unattended.
• Install motion-sensitive lighting around the house.
• Don't allow pets outside when mountain lions are most active-dawn, dusk, and at night.
