San Francisco police arrest 50 in Tenderloin fugitive operation

SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) -- Police in San Francisco's Tenderloin District announced today the arrest of 50 individuals on suspicion of committing crimes like aggrevated assault, burglary and drug dealing. 

San Francisco police says 38 of those arrested were wanted fugitives and 12 were wanted in other Bay Area cities likely Berkeley, Colma, Petaluma, San Mateo County and Walnut Creek.

Eight of the suspects were parolees, police say, and were arrested for either violating their parole or because of outstanding warrants.
