Santa Rosa Junior College on lockdown after report of person with gun near campus

SANTA ROSA (KRON) — Santa Rosa Junior College District Police is investigating a report of a person with a gun or weapon near the campus Wednesday night.

Police say the armed person may be inside a residence near the campus on the 400 block of Elliott Avenue. 

The junior college is locked down as of 10:30 p.m. Wednesday and students and residents are asked to remain quiet, stay inside and secure themselves behind locked doors. 

Students are asked to stay away from the campus.
