A security guard is being charged with murder in the death of his coworker in Walnut Creek.
The incident happened at a construction site on Lacassie Avenue last Thursday night.
There, police say 34-year-old Hakim Madjour attacked 60-year-old Harry Wayne with a metal pole, causing severe head injuries.
Swayne died at the scene. The two were co-workers.
Madjour was treated for minor injuries before being arrested and booked in jail.
Madjour has been charged with the murder of Swayne.
