Sheriff: Pescadero man arrested for sexually assaulting children under 10

PESCADERO (KRON) — A Pescadero man has been arrested on Thursday for sexually assaulting two victims under the age of 10, according to the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office.

The suspect has been identified as 47-year-old Francisco Nunez.

Authorities say between March 2009 and March 2015, Nunez had sexually assaulted the victims on multiple occasions in a private residence. 

Deputies and detectives arrested Nunez following an extensive investigation. 

Nunez was booked at the Maguire Correctional Facility for two counts of sodomy of a juvenile, one count of oral copulation of a juvenile, one count of lewd acts on a minor under the age of 14, and one count of continuous sexual abuse of a minor. 

The sheriff’s office believes there may be more victims.
