SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — An estimated 270,000 students are experiencing homelessness across California’s K-12 system, according to a report released Monday by UCLA. To address the problem, this week a South Bay lawmaker revived a proposal to guarantee income for homeless high school seniors.
