(KRON) — Officers with the Livermore Police Department responded to reports of a 6-foot boa constrictor in the road on Monday night, according to a tweet from Livermore PD. The snake was located in the roadway at the 1100 block of Big Basin Road.

Upon arriving at the scene, officers determined the snake belonged to an area resident. The snake was located and safely reunited with its owner, the tweet states.
