Structure fire contained in San Jose

SAN JOSE, Calif. (KRON) — Seven residents were displaced from a structure fire that damaged two homes Tuesday afternoon, San Jose Fire Department tweeted.

The fire occurred on the 1200 block of Farringdon Drive has been contained, authorities said. The fire caused exterior damage to a neighboring home.

The fire started in the back of the main residence, burning the surrounding fence and backyard patio.

There are no known injuries at the time.
