A 17-year-old was shot in the leg at a house party in Rohnert Park early Sunday morning.
Authorities say the victim had gotten into a dispute with three other males at the party in the 5000 block of Snyder Lane.
One of them shot the victim during the altercation before all three suspects fled the scene.
The teen was taken to a local hospital with a non-life threatening gunshot wound.
He spoke with investigators and described what led up to the shooting.
Detectives obtained a search warrant for the residence where the party took place and found evidence in the home that supports the victim’s statement.
Authorities are trying to locate other people who were at the party in hopes of getting more information.
