SAN JOSE (KRON) - An arrest has been made after two cars slammed into a San Jose apartment complex.
An early wake up for residents of the Meridian Avenue Apartment Complex.
Authorities say about 1:30 a.m. Friday morning a white Honda Accord traveling North on Meridian rear-ended a black Volkswagen.
Both cars lost control and ended up slamming into the apartment complex.
“One of the vehicles made sufficient damage to the wall of the apartment complex which inside was the bedroom of the occupant so fortunately that vehicle didn't make it inside the apartment complex and no injuries were reported,” Officer Gina Tepoorten with the San Jose Police said.
The passenger of the black VW did suffer injuries, as did the driver of the white Honda.
32-year-old Daniel Quintana was driving the Honda and has now been arrested.
“The suspect has been arrested for felony driving while under the influence because he caused injury not only to himself but the passenger of the Volkswagen,” Officer Tepoorten said.
As the sun came up you could see the missing fence that had been taken out by the Honda and the damage done by the black VW outside the bedroom of that apartment unit.
