Two DUI collisions in San Bruno lead to arrests

SAN BRUNO (KRON) - Two DUI collisions happened in San Bruno over the weekend leading to two 21-year-old men being arrested, according to the San Bruno Police Department.

This first incident happened around 2:08 a.m. on Saturday morning when police officers responded to the 400 block of El Camino Real. 

Authorities say the driver, identified as 21-year-old Dominic Duca, had fled the scene. 

Following an investigation, officers found the vehicle involved on Crystal Springs Road at Crestmoor Drive. 

The next night around 12:10 a.m. on Sunday, the driver in a black Subaru crashed into two parked cars at the intersection of San Bruno Avenue and Easton Avenue. 

The 21-year-old driver identified as Wilmer Medrano Rivera then drove away.

Officers were led to the area of Easton and Angus Avenue where the car involved was parked. 

Authorities determined that both Duca and Medrano Rivera had been driving under the influence of alcohol before being arrested for DUI.

The men were later released into the custody of a sobering facility. 

No injuries were reported in the collisions.
