SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — A vehicle crashed into a building Friday afternoon in San Francisco’s SoMa neighborhood, KRON4 has confirmed. Photos show (below) a pickup truck ramming into Roche Bobois furniture store located on 8th and Townsend Street.

The truck driver struck four cars and a pedestrian before crashing into a building around 4:52 p.m., the San Francisco Police Department said.

The suspect driver first struck an occupied vehicle near 8th and Harrison and continued southbound onto 8th and Townsend Street. Two people in that vehicle had non-life-threatening injuries and were treated at the scene.

Then, the suspect struck two other occupied vehicles and one unoccupied vehicle before hitting the pedestrian. No injuries were reported from the occupied vehicles, officials said.

The truck driver and the pedestrian were taken to the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. Photos posted by the San Francisco Fire Department (SFFD) can be seen below.

The condition of those taken to the hospital is unknown at this time.
