VIDEOS: Authorities spend Halloween busting several sideshows in San Jose

All tricks and no treats in San Jose overnight as authorities busted several sideshows on Halloween. 

According to the San Jose Police Department, no arrests were made and no vehicles were impounded.

Three citations were issued, police said.

CHP says they arrested one person and impounded that person’s car for 30 days.

Authorities responded to reports of sideshow activity all over the County.

CHP says activity was reported in the following areas: 

  • Gish Road at 880 
  • Non-injury accident on Curtner under 87
  • Oakland Rd. at 101 

CHP worked with SJPD to position in key locations to stop freeways from being shut down as a result of all the sideshow activity.
