Warriors take Trail Blazers in Game 1 at Oracle

OAKLAND (KRON) — Get ready, Dub Nation! The Western Conference Finals begins Tuesday night in Oakland.

Tip off is at 6 p.m. at Oracle Arena. Warriors will take on the Portland Trail Blazers.

Golden State and Portland tied the regular season series 2-2.

The Warriors have gone 30-11 at home. Golden State is the NBA leader with 29.4 assists per game, led by Draymond Green averaging 6.9.

The Trail Blazers have gone 21-20 away from home. Portland is 4-6 in one-possession games.

Warriors star Kevin Durant is out for Games 1 and likely Game 2 with a strained right calf.

Golden State finished off James Harden and the Houston Rockets without Durant, who watched the final game of that series at home in the Bay Area.

Warriors coach Steve Kerr says Durant hasn’t stepped on the floor since being injured in Game 5 against Houston.
