Nominate your city's potholes to get fixed by Domino's Pizza's new program

SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) - Those darn potholes!

We're pretty sure you know what it's like to be enjoying a smooth ride down the road and have it all taken away once you hit that pesky pothole.

But Domino's Pizza has a solution to help combat that problem!

It's called the "Paving for Pizza" program, which was recently launched by Domino's as a way to help cities with those darn potholes so your delivery pizza makes it safe and sound to your doorstep, fully intact!

"Potholes, cracks, and bumps in the road can cause irreversible damage to your pizza during the drive home from Domino's. We can't stand by and let your cheese slide to one side, your topping get un-topped, or your boxes get flipped. So we're helping to pave in town across the country to save your good pizza from these bad roads," according to the website.

Domino's has provided funding to fix potholes in Burbank, California, as well as in Texas, Delaware and Georgia.

If there are potholes near you you'd like to see go away, Domino's is taking nominations!

You can submit your zip code for consideration by visiting through Aug. 31.

Till then, drive cautiously to keep those pizzas safe!
