SEE IT: Police chase RV through Southern California streets

SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA (KRON) — New video of a wild police chase in Southern California shows the driver of an RV weaving in and out of traffic at high speeds Tuesday night.

Helicopters overhead captured the RV plowing into several cars and at one point, a dog was seen leaping out of the moving vehicle onto the roadway.

The chase ended around 8 p.m. when the RV slammed into a vehicle, injuring the person inside.

The suspect then got out and tried to hop over a fence, but was tackled by law enforcement and taken into custody.

Police have not provided an update on the suspect’s identity or why that person was running from police.
