SEACLIFF BEACH (KRON) — Over a dozen Great White Sharks have been spotted at Sea Cliff Beach in Aptos, as close as 20 yards away from the shore.
Beach goers are hoping for a glimpse of the Great Whites since the unusually warm weather has emboldened them to come closer to the sand.CLOSE SHARK ENCOUNTERS
Warning signs along the beach advise swimmers to be vigilant of those with whom they share the water. While warning signs are usually taken down within 24-hours of a shark sighting, the signs will remain posted throughout the 4th of July holiday weekend.
