ANTIOCH (KRON)– California Highway Patrol is investigating a drive-by shooting that happened along Highway 4 in Antioch on Saturday.
The highway shooting broke out between 3:00 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. according to CHP.
The incident occurred on the Lone Tree offramp on the highway.
Officials with the California Highway Patrol said a woman was shot in the leg.
Initially no injuries were reported. The victim was taken to a hospital, treated and released, CHP spokesman Officer Jonathan Fransen said.
