Four minors arrested in South Bay burglary spree


SANTA CLARA COUNTY (BCN) — Officers have arrested four male juveniles suspected in a string of residential burglaries in Los Gatos and Monte Sereno, police said.

The four are suspected of taking money and jewelry from a home in the 400 block of Dardanelli Lane in Los Gatos, police said.

During that burglary, a video surveillance camera captured their images and also recorded the image of a car stolen from San Jose that they are alleged to have been driving, according to police.

They are also accused of burglarizing a home in the 16800 block of Leroy Avenue in Los Gatos on Nov. 26, during which memorabilia, jewelry and money were taken, police said.

Police say they have also linked the four to a residential burglary in the 17300 block of Eaton Lane in Monte Sereno on Dec. 5. in which jewelry, a firearm and a vehicle were stolen.

The Los Gatos Monte Sereno Police Department worked with Santa Clara County sheriff’s officers to find and arrest the four juvenile suspects in San Jose. The dates of the arrests were not provided by police.
