High voter turn out for the 2018 midterm election across Bay Area

A steady stream of people showed up to cast a ballot on Tuesday for the 2018 Midterm Elections across the Bay Area.

In Martinez and San Jose, KRON 4 had team coverage to speak to voters.

Long lines were outside the Registrar’s Office in San Jose where many were waiting to register and then vote.

Over in Martinez, the registrar said he was a bit surprised because they had anticipated a large turnout.

Therefore, they were prepared but he said it is one thing to think about it and another to see the big turnout actually show up.
