SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — A San Francisco police officer, accused of hitting two pedestrians and driving away, was due back in court Monday.

Officer Christopher Kohrs, who is known as the “Hot Cop of the Castro,” was expected in court for a preliminary hearing. He is charged with two counts of felony hit-and-run.

Officer Kohrs is accused of leaving the scene after his car hit two people in San Francisco’s North Beach back in December.

On Monday, a judge was expected to decide if there’s enough evidence against Kohrs to stand trail.

Kohrs pleaded not guilty in December to the two felony hit-and-run charges.

Kohrs was identified as the registered owner and driver of the orange and black 2009 Dodge Charger involved in the collision and left at the scene, police said.
