Hot temps don’t deter Dub Nation from attending victory parade

It was hot out there for Warriors fans on this championship parade day in Oakland.

Some folks came prepared for a long, hot day in the sun, while others improvised to beat the heat.

The Warriors may be celebrating their third NBA Championship since 2015, but the sun up there in the sky is undefeated on parade day in Oakland.

“Oh, it is burning up but we love the Warriors!” one fan said.

In fact, it was 85 degrees along the parade route.

So, what are some of these Golden State Warriors fans doing to prevent taking a loss in this heat?

Breaking out the umbrella.

“Yes I had to buy an umbrella and we are sitting here very patiently waiting for the parade,” said another fan.

“We got plenty of water and got the umbrella to keep the sun off,” another fan said.

It could have been a thousand degrees, but fans said they wouldn’t miss the parade because of a little heat.

“I mean we gotta do what we gotta do, gotta support the Bay, you know,” a fan said.

That undying support is the hallmark of Warriors fans, toughing it out, waiting for that moment to see their favorite players shining in the sun.

“I need some shade, it is too hot out here, but I can be hot for the Warriors, Steph Curry all day!” a fan said.
