Trending today on the KRON4 Morning Buzz is round one of the 2018 NFL Draft.

With the ninth pick, the San Francisco 49ers chose Mike McGlinchey.

He’s an offensive tackle from Notre Dame. Mike was team captain for the Fighting Irish. He’s 6-foot-8,  309 pounds, and also played basketball in high school. He also happens to be cousins with Atlanta Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan.

The Raiders traded back from the tenth pick to the 15th in exchange for two additional later round picks. Oakland chose Kolton Miller, an offensive tackle from UCLA. Another big boy, Kolton is 6 foot 9. He was born close by in Redwood City, but he grew up in Roseville.

Fun Fact: He set a record for the broad jump for O-linemen at the NFL Combine with a leap of ten feet, and one inch.

CORRECTION! I called Lynch the 49ers coach, but of course, we all know he’s the GM!
