ANTIOCH (KRON) — About 4,560 people lost power Monday morning in the Antioch area due to metallic balloons, according to a PG&E spokeswoman.
The outage started around 5:11 a.m., spokeswoman Jacqueline Ratto said.
PG&E was able to fully restore power to all residents by 6:11 a.m., according to Ratto.
The cause was one or more metallic balloons, the spokeswoman said.
Residents lost power when one of the metallic balloons hit a power line.
Ratto said PG&E officials encourage people to keep metallic balloons indoors.Bay City News Service contributed to this report
