This 7-year-old is YouTube's highest paid star at $22 million a year

SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) - Meet the highest-paid YouTube star of 2018, who earned that title by making $22 million this year alone. 

His name is Ryan of Ryan ToysReview --and he's only 7-years-old! 

Ryan came in at No.1 on Forbes' list of highest-paid YouTube stars of 2018. 

What does he do exactly? He reviews toys -- think of it as toys reviewed for kids by kids! 

Ryan's bio on his YouTube page reads: 

“Join Ryan to see him play with toys and review toys for kids! He loves Cars, Trains, Thomas and friends, Lego, Superheroes, Disney toys, open surprise eggs, play doh , Pixar Disney cars , Disney Planes, monster trucks, minions, playtime at the fun, family fun adventure and so much more! Ryan will also love doing fun and easy science experiments for kids!”

Ryan's YouTube page has garnered quite the following at 17 million subscribers.

According to his page, most of the toys Ryan uses in his reviews are donated to local charity afterward. 

But Ryan doesn't only review toys. According to Forbes, he also has a line of collectibles and more now on sale at Walmart and Target.

Coming in at No. 2 on Forbes' list is Jake Paul (younger brother of Logan Paul) who earned $21.5 million from his merchandise business.
