NEW VIDEO: San Jose police search for 2 homicide suspects

San Jose police have released surveillance video of two men they believe killed a homeless man back in December.

Investigators are hoping the public can help identify the two men.

In the surveillance video, you can see the two walking on the street just moments before 49-year-old Mark Jones was shot and killed by one of the suspects after a brief altercation.

In the video, one suspect is wearing a dark-colored hooded sweatshirt, dark pants, and dark sneakers with white soles and a light-colored jacket.

The other suspect is wearing a dark-colored hooded sweatshirt, dark pants, and a dark-colored jacket.

Police are still investigating the motive and circumstances surrounding the killing.

It happened on East Virginia and South Third Streets at 1 a.m. on Dec. 5, 2018.

Ever since, police have been trying to piece this all together with video from area cameras but they are in major help of identifying the two men.

The person with information leading up to their arrest could be eligible for a cash reward by police.
