Photo shows missing girl at 7-Eleven store across from high school

KING CITY (KRON/BCN) — Police have released an additional photo of a Monterey County girl who ran away from King City on Friday morning and is still missing as of Monday morning.

Around 11:40 a.m. Friday, officers were notified that Jaime Suzanne Nicholson, 16, ran away, police said.

She was last seen with a friend leaving King City High School, where she is a student, according to police.

Jaime was also seen Friday morning outside a 7-Eleven store across the street from the school, police Cmdr. Alex Tirado said.

A photo taken from a store surveillance camera shows the girl wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt with writing in the front, black jeans, tan boots that resemble “Ugg” boots, and a purple duffel bag, Tirado said.

Jaime is described as a white girl standing 5 feet 3 inches tall and weighing a little over 200 pounds with brown hair and hazel eyes, police said.

Police do not know where the 16-year-old may go and she didn’t show up for school Monday morning, according to Tirado.

Anyone with information on Jaime’s whereabouts is asked to call 911, police at (831) 386-5980 or the WeTip line at (800) 782-7463. Tips can be made anonymously.
