San Jose police rescue puppy found stuck in storm drain

SAN JOSE (KRON) — San Jose police rescued a puppy on Saturday in East San Jose after it got stuck in a storm drain, police said.

An officer was on patrol on Sebastian Borello Drive when he reported hearing a puppy crying at around 10 p.m., Ofc. Albert Morales said.

When the officer investigated, he found a puppy stuck in a storm drain, according to Morales. More officers arrived on scene to help, and they were able to rescue the dog, police said.

It is not known if the puppy has an owner, according to Morales.Bay City News contributed to this report
