SAN FRANCISCO (BCN) — A woman killed in a hit-and-run while riding a scooter in San Francisco’s Tenderloin neighborhood on Sunday night has been identified by the city’s Medical Examiner’s Office as 34-year-old Rosalyn Barnett. Barnett, a San Francisco resident, died in the collision reported around 8:30 p.m. Sunday near the intersection of Turk and Taylor streets.
She was taken to a hospital, where she later died, police said.

San Francisco police initially said she was 25 years old. The driver and car that struck Barnett fled the scene and remain at large. No suspect or vehicle information were immediately available.
