SAN FRANCISCO (KRON/BCN) — Three armed thieves kidnapped and robbed a 27-year-old man who was attempting to sell them wristbands for the Outside Lands Music & Arts Festival in San Francisco on Saturday, police said.

Investigators say the victim had used Craigslist to arrange the sale of the wristbands and was to meet the would-be thieves at about 5:00 p.m. Saturday near the intersection of 24th Avenue and Fulton Street in the city’s Richmond District.

Once they met up, one person brandished a handgun and knife and ordered the victim to get into a light blue vehicle, according to police. Investigators say a male drove the vehicle around while another pointed a gun at the victim and a third held a knife up to the victim.

The thieves ordered the victim to hand over the concert wristbands and his money. Police say once the victim handed over the items and the thieves dropped him off on the street.

They then fled in the vehicle, possibly a Hyundai, police said.

The victim suffered a cut to his hand, but no life-threatening injuries, according to police.
