SFSU announces Nancy Pelosi as keynote speaker for May 28 graduation

San Francisco State University announced on Tuesday that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi will be the keynote speaker at the 118th Commencement scheduled for May 28.

Pelosi (D-Calif.) will address more than 8,500 undergraduate and graduate students receiving their degrees from SFSU in addition to an expected 30,000 guests. 

The graduation ceremony will be held at Oracle Park for the fifth year in a row, with the commencement ceremony starting at 6:30 p.m. 

Fireworks will close out the ceremony around 9:30 p.m.
