(KRON) — All lanes are back open following police activity on the eastbound lanes of Interstate 580 at Central Avenue in Richmond, according to the California Highway Patrol. Earlier Monday, all lanes had been blocked.
Motorists were advised to expect delays and use alternate routes when possible. The Richmond Police Department was on the scene handling the situation with assistance from the CHP.
There were reports of a possible person in distress.
