BENICICA (KRON) — Thursday, a Benicia resident was arrested after police searched his home and found various drugs and paraphernalia, according to Benicia Police Department.
After what Benicia PD calls an “extensive investigation for narcotic sales,” detectives served a search warrant to a home in the 600 block of East L. Street.
During the search, 37-year-old resident Brandon Sanborn was found to be in possession of:
- 4.5 ounces of suspected methamphetamine
- More than 90 Hydrocodone pills without a prescription
- Meth pipes
- About 5 pounds of weed
Sanborn was transported and booked into Solano County Jail for:
- Possession for sales
- Possession of Hydrocodone
- Possession of methamphetamine smoking pipes
- Possession of marijuana for sale
The Benicia Police Department had this to say about the arrest:
As police officers, we have seen how drugs have ruined so many people’s lives and are tied to other crimes. We’d like to thank our residents for being diligent in reporting any suspicious activity in our city.”
