NAPA COUNTY (KRON) — After Thursday’s heavy downpours in the North Bay, a portion of Highway 121 is now closed until Monday because of a rockslide caused by the storm.

On Friday morning, the debris was still covering about half of the roadway.

The Napa County Sheriff’s Office said the highway is closed from Vichy Avenue to Wooden Valley Road onto Circle Oaks Drive.

Drivers are advised to use alternate routes until the possible reopening on Monday.

In Solano County, state Route 113 between Fry and Hay roads south of Dixon remains closed because of overnight flooding, Caltrans said.

Caltrans said late Friday morning the road may reopen by 3 p.m.

Motorists may detour from Fry Road to Valley Road to Hay Road, or Hay Road to Valley Road to Fry Road, Caltrans said.

Drivers should expect delays, Caltrans spokesman Vince Jacala said.Bay City News contributed to this report.
