(KRON) — San Francisco police are asking for help locating a missing at-risk, 2-year-old girl whose mother was the victim of a homicide.

Two-year-old Arianna Fitts was last seen in late February and she is being considered at-risk because she is young and foul play is suspected, police said.

She and her mother Nicole Fitts were known to frequent San Francisco, San Mateo, Oakland, Emeryville, Fresno, Santa Cruz, and Silicon Valley areas as well as places in Southern California.

Nicole was found dead at McLaren Park on Friday, according to police.

Anyone who sees Arianna is being asked to call 911 immediately.

Anyone with information about Arianna’s whereabouts or anyone with information about Nicole’s death is being asked to call the Police Department’s homicide unit at (415) 553-1145 or the anonymous tip line at (415) 575-4444.

Nicole’s coworkers tell KRON 4 that Arianna was temporarily staying with a babysitter in Oakland. San Francisco Police and Oakland Police worked together to check out the apartment Saturday in Oakland but were unable to locate the 2-year-old.

Nicole’s coworkers at Best Buy said they are all in shock over what happened.

“I think we’re all just still trying to process it,” Elvi Flores said. “We realize what’s happened, but I think that we’re all just supporting each other one another and just finding comfort in each other.”

Flores said she still remembers when Nicole would bring Arianna into work.

“She would be running around the store playing with us,” she said. “She was just a ray of sunshine, she was always smiling, always giggling, and it’s just very troubling that we have no information on her, so we don’t know what to do. We want to find her as much as anybody else.”

Coworkers said Nicole was just at work last Thursday.

People can send a tip on the case by text to TIP 411 with SFPD at the beginning of the message.

A GoFundMe page has been set up for Nicole’s funeral. $505 has been raised as of Monday afternoon.

No arrests have been made in the killing of Nicole or the disappearance of Arianna.

According to KRON’s J.R. Stone, Arianna’s father was not in the picture.
