Vlasic to sell pickle chips made from actual pickles

Prepare yourselves, pickle people!

Vlasic has launched a new treat catered toward pickle lovers ready to pucker up for a salty snack.

Vlasic says the crunchy chips are made solely of pickles.

We repeat — these pickle chips are not made with potatoes, only pickles!

Apparently the pickle chips are just essentially vacuum fried, thinly sliced dill pickles turned into crunchy wafers.

According to Food Business News, Conagra Brands (the parent company of Vlasic), will launch the pickle chips along with other new snacks like “Slim Jim Fried Pork Rinds” and “Nacho Cheese Crispy Fries.”

In a statement to Thrillist, Conagra’s COO Thomas McGough said, “Pickles themselves are a great snack, essentially no calories or carbs. But eating pickles out of a conventional jar is inconvenient and messy. So we’ve created Vlasic single-serve pickle slices and also a Vlasic vacuum-fried pickle chips that taste absolutely fantastic.”

Officials have been keeping mum about the exact date when the snacks will be available on store shelves, but we are crossing our fingers for.. tomorrow? ASAP!
