Women raised by working moms more likely to hold higher job positions

More mothers are in the workforce than ever before, and new research suggests that being raised by a mom who works is a good thing.

Researchers in the United States and the United Kingdom looked at data from more than 100,000 men and women.

The results told a positive story.

Women who were raised by working mothers were not only more likely to be employed but also more likely to hold supervisory positions in their jobs and make more money.

Men who grew up with mothers who worked were found to spend an additional 50 minutes each week
caring for family members.

The study also found happiness levels as adults weren’t affected whether mom had a career or stayed at home.
