About Dr. Stanley Jacobs’ Bay Area Cosmetic Surgery Practice
Dr. Stanley Jacobs founded his facial cosmetic surgery practice in 1991. He specifically designed it to serve patients from the Bay Area and beyond, all seeking the highest level of quality for their elective cosmetic surgery procedures. Dr. Eric Culbertson joined The Jacobs Center for Cosmetic Surgery in 2017, bringing options for breast and body cosmetic surgery.
The practice is headquartered in the heart of the wine country: Healdsburg, Calif. There is a second office in downtown San Francisco. The doctors will conduct individual consultations on-site in either office. If appropriate, they will provide computer imaging of your expected results. The highly qualified staff maintains a full calendar assisting in the consultation and surgical procedures for an array of patients.
The practice sees more than 1,000 cosmetic surgery patients each year. That number includes both men and women, and they come from all over the United States, Canada, and Europe. Dr. Jacobs’ practice has been recognized for its community involvement, as well as for its research and educational efforts over the years.

Dr. Jacobs is board certified by the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (ABFPRS). He is one of a few facial plastic surgeons in the United States who received fellowship training after residency. This training was with the late Larry D. Schoenrock, M.D., at the University of California, San Francisco.
Dr. Jacobs is triple board certified. In addition to the ABFPRS, he is also certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery and the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada.
Dr. Jacobs is an elected house delegate for the California Medical Association, sitting on the specialty committee representing facial cosmetic surgery. Dr. Jacobs is also a member of the European Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery. He has been Chief of Surgery at Sutter Hospital in Santa Rosa and Chief of Facial Plastic Surgery at Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital. He has hospital privileges at Sutter Hospital and Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital in Santa Rosa, Calif., and the California Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco, Calif.
